Camp Douglas Wi. 40miles nw of wi. dells | Hi Joe
Same thing happened to me with our 9500 back in late 90s. Shut it down soon as the alarm sounded. Went back by engine seen what happened and ran back to cab started the engine at idle for 30 seconds or so and shut it down. Was very concerned that I damaged the engine. We were changing oil every 100 hrs and it was useing 2 quarts of oil between changes before the belt broke. After wards It also blow blue smoke when idling, but was fine working full throttle. Ran the 9500 for 3-4 years till 2002 when we bought 9650 sts, it used maybe a little bit more oil between changes but nothing to get excited about and it ran just fine.
