Only an idiot would buy a new sled for a 1-time use, used are a dime a dozen, buy a good deal, ride it, sell for the same or a few hundred less.
Of course, some people have no clue what to look for in a used machine, nor how to get a good deal, they should stick to renting.
Even WITH their "insurance" you will be charged $3500 for anything other than minor damage, add that to a $2K rental fee it's a no brainer for me,
