Day Co. SD | Did it here for a few years. Fri was supposed to be for the kids that needed extra tutoring. Problem is few of them ever showed up. The money saved was insignificant. The couple staff that discussed it with me didn’t like it, and I honestly don’t remember what the reasons were, but at the time I do remember thinking they were mostly valid. Boils down to your superintendent. If he is a good leader it will probably work. If he has troubles with managing a 5 day week? Then I would not recommend it.
Personally I liked the structure for my kids and my family, but I was in the minority.
