She's getting close to weaning off milk if she's 300# or so. I don't add DDG until over 500#, add soybean meal, plus a mineral pellet instead to get the protein up over 16-18%. Brome hay can be high or low in protein, a test will tell.
What's the plan for her? Freezer or cow makes a difference on feeding, IMHO.
