EC IL | Did they change much between a 9070 and 8090 except larger clean grain and unloading augers? Our 9070 with the 10.3 liter burned less fuel per hour when under light loads than the previous 9060 with a Cummins 9 liter, which didn't make sense to us since it was also pushing larger heads. Even at full load, the 10.3 liter was only burning 10% fuel more than a 9 liter, with easily 75 extra horsepower.
I'd love to know if someone has run a 9065 (17" rotors 10.3-liter engine) side by side with either an 9070 or 8090 (22" rotors and 10.3-liter engine) as a comparison in beans. 9065's are about 40 grand less than a 8090 at similar hours online. | |
