 NW Iowa | I have $679.48 a head in my calves when i sell them on the 10th.
I have everything paid for no money borrowed. I'm charging myself tillable rent on the grass and what I could have sold the silage for.
Everything is included except my labor, and it isn't much. More of a recreation for me.
Now if i borrowed everything and financed everything it would be a loosing deal.
Something has to help you get to the point i'm at.
Well, that and crunching numbers on feed, hard.
My numbers were even better when i had all the stalks i could run, after my corn was taken off. | |
