| Agree 100%. Expect imports will keep rising and the reason packers and their industry flunkies fight MCOOL. At some point their excuse that we need to import junk to mix with our (ever dercreasing) trim becomes a moot point. But when they control all animal protein why would they care if the beef cattle industry disappears? But just keep sending those ripoff dollars.
Their are fewer places where beef cows have even the chance to work everyday. Too much competition from more heavily subsidized areas of ag as well as pressure from development and recreation. | |
