Looks like the Deere/Wacker Neusen deal is recent. WN will build less than 5 ton machines with 5-9 tons being designed by WN and built by Deere. The small ones we have at work are made by Yanmar. Bigger ones used to be made in a joint venture with Hitachi but that ended about a ago and Deere is on their own making up to the 870.
