Michigan | I have a rotary 15k and a 10k in my shop. I work on mainly fords. Cheaper hoist will struggle to lift f550’s even if they are rated to. You will have to have the truck positioned just right for it to want to lift it. Then once it’s up you will probably be nervous under it due to it rocking. A better hoist that’s built with a heavy column and big arms will lift it better and be solid up in the air. Rotary’s are big money but you can find them used. My 15k was used when I bought it and I use it everyday. If it was me I’d find a nice one and be happy with it in the long run. | |
