SE Iowa | The map is May 2nd through now but if you look at the NWS graphic normal annual precip is 37” and we are at 18” and some change. That’s 19” off and practically two years in a row of it. That’s pretty dry. Again I’ve had decent crops but there is no moisture when digging tile. I’m usually standing in water for comparison. As for the smoke I’d go on a limb and say it would have helped before it hurt us though we really didn’t have all that many hazy days. | |
