I don’t believe there is really much money being made by the cow/calf guy selling $1500 feeders with inputs where they are at.
Say you’re lucky enough to clear $200 a head. It would take 500 head to make $100,000 (which isn’t a lot of money)
500 head of cattle is alot of work for $100,000 in a good year. | |
