White Stone, Virginia
If you can get to the inside drill it out some and put a carriage bolt through it with JB weld around it. Flame prime the tank with a torch and slobber the area with epoxy add fender washer and tighten down snugly. No sense going overboard with it. I have had JB weld on some steel tanks for 20 years, no problem. My fix for pinholes is to JB Weld a quarter over them. It sounds hokie, but it works perfectly, is quick, easy and cheap.
