| Tractor house, others suggest it is @475 bu. As they bought out Brent. *and put their auger folding backwards* ;) I figure like Brent it’s more a 470 bu but modification #5.
Do a quick search. 5 different places say “475” bu. But then again. They might be getting wrong info. And like me parroting it. As I barely know parts of Brent line.
It looks under 500 bu to me. I have had Brent 420 and 610 carts. It looks between them.
I wanted @450 bu cart. But love the +600 one better. I just TRY not to fill it full of wet corn. My thinking. “Tires, axles designed for much more weight. As I buy well used. Lighter loads should prevent breakdowns. Tires oversize for weight. Should not get stuck as easy. If combine has 50 more BU? So what? Another ton plus. At most reduce speed slightly.
Small back field. Fill it up. I can drive slow. Best is hiring hauling. Fill it full. Truck under bin. I pull to side fill rear hopper, pull forward to front, dump, get out of way it’s time to shut off auger. Driver. “I thought I could smoke a cigarette when you were loading”. I can load 17% from one bin, dump with 14% from another.
Finally if you get a bigger tractor. You already have a sized cart.
I buy tillage the same. Chisel plows, springtooth, disc chisel…. If I can unbolt end section either side easily. I buy oversized. +5 years later bigger tractor fwa I just bolt back on.
