Have an add on Outback system on my 7140, and had the same problem. Look closely at the balance valve , the one that came with the kit. Not sure what Trimble calls it, the one with adjustable spools. Talk to your Trimble dealer about how to adjust that counter balance valve. I had to adjust the screws all the way out for it not to lock up.
