Howdy everyone. So I’m alittle fussy about our old trucks. I drain air tanks every October when it gets cold out and again every May. I rarely get any water out. But every year when we haul cows home in November it’s a half a day fight to get this particular truck to dump air out to the trailer. The trailer value in the cab works fine. But no air comes out of the red glad hand. Tracing the line I don’t feel it froze up. Truck side has air just fine. What could i be missing??
This truck has 3 air tanks. One on each side of the truck and then one little tank that sits not too far from the break valve. The little tank is the only tank I get fluid out of. A little bit of water most the time it’s white slime.
Which truck? Some are more prone to freezing issues than others due to the way they are plumbed. Does this truck have an air dryer? If so, when was it last serviced or replaced?
