Near-north Ontario, French River | I love watching these vids ... but I also have to keep reminding myself what part of the world that is , and that those parts aren't destined for north america. For what they have to work with they do surprisingly well. Folks in that area are dirt poor, by our standards, they simple can't afford to run down to the local NAPA and buy a couple Timken bearings ... so this is what they do. The bearing will fail , probably in a month or two of use, and they will simply replace again. Don't kid yourself if our standard of living , wages and prospects ( remember alot of them live in basically mud huts) we'd be doing the same thing. |
