Thought crossed my mind however going to 8 is going to be a chore in good corn. 12 would be too much I think. And a bear to handle in the hills. Even the big guys that run 12 complain about them.
Not all years will be like this year but a lot of 240-280 corn. When you work alone 6 is a challenge to open fields and stage. 12 would be hard and inefficient.
