Subject: RE: Do small grains cause More or Less Wear on Combines

Dad said he thought soybeans caused a lot of wear. Dirty, tough stems. Low to ground, run branches, rocks, metal, toys if you are unlucky. Corn nothing not sticking up over a foot should go in. *in good standing corn*
I always thought corn polishes metal. *which is kinda wear*. So I feel soybeans are most wear. But if by acre. You should have +3x bushels of corn than beans. So flighting wear might be more?
But I still guess soybeans, corn, then small grains.
