Neighbor mechanic has never had a vehicle fall off the lift and I bet he switches 2-3 vehicles per day between his 2 lifts. He said if you aren’t sure lift the vehicle off the ground slightly and pull on front and back bumpers to rock the vehicle and see how stable/unstable it is.
