Crawfordsville, Arkansas | I have pics of it from 2000 when I was in Minot for the wheat harvest. At that time they ran a small CaseIH with the same powerline drag on it. The CaseIH was painted red.
There were about 10 of us that walked probably 1/2 mile across a wheat field to get up close and take pics. Some of the group walked all the way to the top of the boom. Seemed like I remember one saying he counted 300 steps to the tip. I stayed at the bottom and snooped around the base of the machine. Had a peek into the inside of the "box" and also looked into the cab area quick. We were afraid of getting caught so I made it a quick trip. Looking back I wish I had climbed up the boom... | |
