Pollock SD | I would say it is not enough HP. Vertical mixers are very heavy and need much more HP. Without 4 wheel drive steering is almost impossible in mud. This one is 4 wheel drive with Allison Auto and will go through more mud and stay in line with bunks better than pulling a mixer with tractor. Feeding is faster with truck, and easier for operator to get around with. Tractors on feed boxes really add hours and with depreciation of newer tractors, it isn't cheap to run a mixer. Tractor tread floater style tires will help a lot. This one is listed in classifieds if there is any interest. It works great I just upgraded to a larger model.
