I think Germany has made a couple of major mistakes with their energy supply. First off, they relied on Russia for cheap NG and we all know how that turned out. Lately, they are doubling down on stupid by capping electricity prices that industry has to pay, at a ridiculously low price of 6 cents / Kwh. Recently, a large solar facility was cancelled because their cost was going to come in at around 8 cents but the cap would guarantee them a loss, so it won't happen. I'm at a loss to figure out where the 6 cent power industry will get is going to come from and who will be stuck shouldering the difference.
