Used to really like kinze but this year the neighbor one bought new in 2019 had all this sides slip out on it you could tell it was clearly bad welding kinze said to bad out of warranty
This should be a huge mistake. Hope your neighbor gets you to document stuff. E-mail to dealer before posting online.
I bought a NH tractor new. It was assembled poorly. Many warranty repairs first year. 3 years the hood started peeling. I mean really bad. Driving on road in rain I had blue chips over window. “It’s out of warrenty”
So I went in, heard NH rep there. I told him a true story.
When I sit in line at elevator other farmers ask “what happened to the hood?” I tell them it’s parked inside 340c nights a year, never had oils, grease, chemicals on it. They look at 30+ yr old JD lived most of life outside. Paint faded, maybe scratched but looks better than my 3 yr old tractor. I know they will never consider buying a NH”
Factory rep lined up hauling, repainting…. I stopped him. “It’s just the hood. It’s easy to remove. You know paint code. Just tell me where to drop it off”
He insisted. Asked if anything else. Of course a few minor things I had not gotten around to. He had those fixed as well, plus had it hauled back. No charge.
I just wanted hood repainted. |
