Dagmar, MT | The kick-start for renewables keeps getting more expensive is the problem, with ethanol the subsidy came & went. Science told us that ethanol was a viable replacement for gasoline, but that is not the case with renewables now.
If we look at Europe for example, the “dividend” for going full-bore on renewables is 40 cent electricity. It’s killing the manufacturing industry in Germany especially. Nuclear is expensive when compared to fossil fuel price points today, but it’s still the only serious alternative. | |
