Faunsdale, AL | They do go out and sometimes it’s with the grain hopper full! On the older ones, taking the panel out of rear wall of grain tank next to engine makes the job not too bad.
Before you remove it, best to test it in place, I would take a heavy wrench or hammer head and short the two big terminals on the solenoid and see if the starter spins over. If it does, then test by jumping the crank terminal to BAT. May have to remove a plastic piece that prevents that being done with a screwdriver etc. If that works, then there’s trouble elsewhere upstream toward the auxillary starter relay. OR it’s an intermittent fault use to make you pull your hair out! | |
