Is that ziebart the rubber stuff? Cause here it just cracks and traps salt and makes it worse.
Best thing in the salt belt is an annual "oil" spray. Krown or corrosion free. Needs to get done every year though, but works really good.
I got mine done late Sept, $150 canadian so does add up but otherwise by 10yrs old most trucks are rotted pretty bad.
Forget all the waxy suff as it hardens and cracks, go with KROWN it is available in the US as well, excellent results and not only against rust,
but also against corrosion & oxidation of electric terminals/switches. |
