| I posted several days ago about an electric brake problem on a trailer. Finally found the issue. Magnet at times would short to its casing and then to the wheel hub. At high speeds evidently the magnet would not ground through the brake hub and all was well. As soon as I slowed my speed the magnet would ground out and cause low resistance which set off a warning stating trailer brake not connected. New magnet and all is well. I disconnected magnets one at a time to find the problem wheel. | |
