NW Iowa. / SW Arizona | I’m impressed my 8300 Interstate battery lasted over 10 years. I parked my 8300 in shop with the oil drained for over 30 days while we went to AZ for a month. I put the oil in this morning and went to start it and it turned over slowly but wouldn’t start. I got to thinking I couldn’t remember the last time I changed the battery so pulled the cover off before trying to charge it. I was surprised it was in April of 2013. I’ve never once had to charge it. I put the charger on it for about one minute and it fired right up. I’m going to wait until Spring to replace it as I don’t need it this winter. The longest I’d ever had a battery last before was about 8 years.
