Update.....

We took the roof off, heater valve is fine. We took the two hoses off at the water pump and blew through them when valve is open and antifreeze moves, when you turn it to cold, it shuts off. If you take the heater hoses off, the coolant coming out of the shut off valves is hot, but not under pressure, and does not travel up the hoses.

Radiator is full of coolant.

Water pump belt is not slipping.

Top radiator hose is hot at operating temp. Bottom hose stays cold like nothing is circulating. We covered radiator with cardboard and bottom hose never warmed up.

I think now that either the thermostat is stuck or removed? Or water pump fins are worn out? But I don't know why it doesn't overheat under a load.

Temp guage warms up like normal and stays in the middle of the operating range.

I guess now we will replace the water pump, and install a new belt and thermostat?
