Subject: soybean stubble eating tires

Have four rib tires on front of tractor that pulls the drill for planting wheat behind soybeans.
The stubble is eating the tire up between the ribs and eventually thru the plies and then the tires are shot.
Anybody have any recommendations as to what to put on the front that would hold up better ?
Put industrial 12ply back hoe front tires on the drill before put away for storage as only had 4of 8 tires with air in them when we finished.
Guess we will find out next year if that was a good move
