Does anybody know how the DOT views a semi tractor pulling farm implements? Any different than a pickup? I have farm plates but no CDL. Supposed to stay in that 100 or 150 mile radius whatever it is.
I do not, but I know I feel less conspicuous in my pu. Lol. I don't know if hooked to a farm implement changes any laws, but I would think it would change the officer's perception of what he thinks he can get you for. I would say they would be more likely to leave you alone pulling a graincart than loading it on a trailer and hauling. I think they wouldn't give you a second look pulling it with a pu and not doing something dangerous.
