I tried that adapter and was not happy. It made the tool more cumbersome and the batteries were extremely hard to get off. I had already begun buying some 20v tools so I just watched for some sales and loaded up on 20v and sold all of the 18v on Marketplace for a few hundred bucks. I am much happier now.
