600 could be either grease or oil bath gearboxes. Grease gear boxes used 2 slip clutches per row as well. Deere offers several row max kits as well. We put the new style gathering chains on our 616C, they are supposed to last longer than the originals. Think it might be standard on 790 series. BTW our 616C is for sale, set up for red combines.
