One year we ran an 8" unload on a 30' bin, using a v belt on the flat belt pulley of a Case SC. Other than keeping the v belt on the flat pulley, it worked fine. IIRC, we only ran it this way for one load, so to keep the belt on the pulley, one of us stood there with a wooden broom handle to apply the necessary side pressure. Maybe with better alignment of the SC, it would have stayed, but didn't want to take the time for just one load.

If you can get a sheave/pulley mounted to your H, to better drive the belt, I'd think it'll work fine.
