Central Indiana | Unfortunately only remedy for this is high fence which is not feasible. You could try planting another attractant like alfalfa around the edge to keep them out of the corn. Mechanical means of control can work great but like you said it’s hard to quarter up 3 deer in 90 weather and not very many want to take out the problem doe anyway. A hot wire a foot above ground and one around 4 foot would help but again expensive and have to have power. But so is 20 acres of corn loss.. | |
