Central Indiana | Not going to work like you think. Scouting fields is considered commercial use even if just looking around on a Saturday evening with a beer in your hand. Using it to make any sort of money is considered commercial or ag production which will require a license. Will you be stopped or fined for doing so? Not likely and very hard to prove that you’re making management decisions based on your evening flyovers. As for the deer, it’ll work maybe half a dozen times before they get used to it and don’t care. Wildlife enthusiasts will quickly be on you about harassment and will lead to even more regulations on drone use in the future. I wouldn’t advertise online anywhere that it’s your intended purpose.
