What is the machine in the 4th picture? First glance thought it was a threshing machine. Then looked more closely at it and obviously it is not. Has a blower like a silage chopper. Has late model rims and tires (no spoke wheels like an older machine).
Just wonder what kind of belt driven machine it is.
It’s a corn shredder. Corn binder would cut and bundle corn then shock them in field, when they dry out, run shocks through corn shredder it would remove corncob/earcorn and elevate into wagon and shred rest of stalks and blow them into a pile for bedding or feed. They were popular here in Wisconsin before my time, I’m 71. I was 5 last time Dad and uncle used the corn shredder before they bought corn picker.
