Near-north Ontario, French River | Change continues , at an ever increasing pace, but much of the change is less obvious. from say 1850-1950 the changes were visible. Things like the advent of electricity, cars, aircraft, powered ships, refrigerators, indoor plumbing etc were plainly visible. Today much of the innovation is unseen to the average person, great leaps in computer tech, medical research and the tweaking of existing technology. Things like EV cars LOOK like conventional cars, so while they are massive jumps in tech they stand out less ... compared to say going from horse drawn wagons to powered cars.
