Subject: RE: Removing concrete scale for grain dump pit?

Southeast PA
If you added a 2nd leg with a pit past the end of the scale to be able to dump the front hopper and use original u-trough for back hopper, how tall would it have to be to use the 2nd biggest bin you have as a wet bin? (Upper left corner in the picture) Is that even feasible?

Then you could keep original wet bin, and leg, and just feed the big wet bin with 1 pipe from the new leg. If you could feed your dryer from the small wet bin during the day, you could run 8-10 hours before it would get full and you would have more space in the other wet bin.

Would this save you some expense on moving legs and bins? Could then put a bigger dry storage bin up to replace storage used for wet bin.
