North of London | You were all set with an oil heater.
Our school had a wood and coal furnace almost centre with no fan to distribute the heat just a large grate in middle of school room right on top of furnace.
Since we used pencils and erasures a lot it was a challenge to work erasure down to a round and roll it up the floor and into the furnace grate.
Had to be done when teacher was not looking and then it soon became evident.
I was a good boy and never even tried it but did smell the results a couple times in my school days there | |
