| Agree 100% Big Ben. I forgot to add that information. We have a couple of cattle trail rights. We trail from public lands onto state highway, then back across private lands to public lands. The private lands have been sold a couple of times in history of me using it. Both times the land owners have challenged it.
After us sending them to court house to read it, they left us alone. We respect their land and call before use. However they know its an annual event only lasting less than a 1/2 hour. We respect their cattle and move them out of the way before trailing though.
Also this trail right has kept the right to be on state highway. That also helps us in the event an animal gets hit from traffic. We have a 10 mile section of road our cattle can be on highway. It helps to limit our liability. | |
