I had covid twice... Both times I just stayed at home for a few days until I tested negative.



Please explain that. I had covid a couple years ago (according to two home tests). A few weeks later I went to the doctor for something else, and they were going to test me for it again, since it was SOP at the time. I told them that I tested positive earlier. They said it wouldn't do them any good to test me because the antibodies/antigens would still be in my system.
I'm pretty sure that the virus or traces of same hang with you for a while and not just leave when you feel better, like you shut the lights switch off. I agree that you did the right thing, but.............negative tests? If so, it reinforces my belief that those tests are about as accurate as a crapshoot, but we were forced into using and/or relying on them.
