SW Wisconsin | I use the microwave to melt the butter. Enough beef tallow melted in the bottom of a big pot to cover the bottom, and a few kernels of corn. When those start popping add enough corn to cover the bottom of the pot. Keep the lid on tight, and when it stops popping dump it all in a big bowl or two. Toss in the butter (roughly equal volume to the unpopped corn that you used) and a bit of salt. | |
