Does it really taste that much better? Wife prefers heirloom garden stuff, but I'm wondering if it tastes better . We make it on the stove top too. Wife won't eat microwave popcorn.
I've noticed some difference in flavor between varieties, but freshness is as much a factor. Mine is always better the first few months after harvest.
I'm on team air popper and fresh homemade butter with a little salt. Wife likes to add nutritional yeast flakes too.
