| My grandma still does. She has a dozer come dig a hole about every 5 years. And man is it nice to have somewhere to dump stuff. Nowadays here it’s hard to even pay to dump. There’s a dump 10 or so mile away, but they closed for some reason for a couple years. I’m not sure if they are back open now. They won’t let you in when it’s muddy or cold or the government has an issue with them. Friend of mine was doing a home renovation , complete gut to studs. He loaded a 300 bu grain truck with poor brakes full of stuff and had to drive 2 hours each way to dump it when it came time to catch his seed for the next year. | |
