Floyd County, Iowa | we have a small dumpster here that we rent from the waste disposal company. We have free garbage and recycling service if we take it to the collection site, about 10 miles away, so all of our household garbage goes there. But the dumpster is for other junk. We pay a monthly fee for the rent , and then a fee every time I call them to empty it. The company was bought up recently, and the fees went up about 60%. Might have to make more trips to the collection site, but I'll have to change the way I "package" the trash. | |
