Windom, MN | It's really hanging on everywhere this year.
I was out doing fall work October 28th. That night I had chills/fever. Next day I felt a little better, but still not 100% Then Monday could barely get out of bed, sinus pressure, sore throat, headache, chills, just generally felt terrible. Thought it was strep, but took a COVID test first to rule it out, and I ended up being COVID positive for the first time.
Fever finally broke Tuesday night, but then lost my sense of smell. Taste slowly faded until Friday when I could only tell the difference between salty and sweet. The next week I was starting to turn a corner until Wednesday when I felt like someone punched me in the face. Was miserable Thursday and went in Friday the 10th for an antiboitic...sinus infection.
The next week started to feel better with the antibiotic, but still had a cough and was fatigued, like sleep 9 hours and still feel tired all the time.
This week has been much better, but still coughing and feel like something is in my lungs. Hard to believe all of this can hang on as long as it has. At least I was able to get the fall work done. but the last few days of work were not enjoyable. | |
