I have allergies. Always have had them and this year they seem to have persisted from summer into fall. A couple of weeks ago I had a sore throat for one day from discharge running down while I was asleep. I went to the clinic and they gave me prednisone, the 5,4,3,2,1 deal. To clear up the developing congestion in my lungs. It's a path I've been down before, nothing new. However it didn't stop. I have a cough that continues and results in expelling sputum. Back to the clinic and they gave me 10 days of antibiotics. After 4 days I'm not seeing any significant improvement during the day. My wife persists in thinking I might have covid but I have no fatigue, no headache, no loss of taste or smell, no body ache, the only thing is this darn periodic cough to expel sputum. Nobody in the medical field has ever suggested covid. |
