Besides 12 acres, my only landlord is my dad. He always pays for it. Not sure that helps but in my opinion it's one input that the landlord should take up.
Well, yeah, I'm sure you do like it ;-) It would depend on your rental agreement (higher cash price or shares), but it's like dry fertilizer, except depreciated over 4 to 6 years.
