Iowa | If I caught someone on my land hunting without permission. I'd charge them with trespassing. I know the local game warden fairly well, and last I knew first offense is a 400 dollar fine, then it increases dramatically after that.
All that said I have some land that I hunt with landowner permission and I ask every year out of respect for the land owner. There are a lot of people that hunt with permission only. And it can be a great thing.
It's hunters like this that have no respect for people's land that give hunters a bad name. They are not all like this its the bad ones you hear about. | |
